Overview

They all are highly trained, experienced and qualified to assess, treat and follow up pain of children and adults with cancer.

· • The pain management team conducts daily rounds targeting patients with acute pain after surgery or any other patients in the inpatient department or outpatient clinics according to the medical and nursing evaluation of the cases.

Awareness is provided to patients and families on how to assess pain and how to deal with it.

· Anesthesia and surgical assessment (preoperative evaluation, post operative care)

· Pain management

· Anesthesia General, Local & sedation.

· Anesthesia outside the operating room (minor procedures room, sampling in the radiology department using sonar and CT guided) as well as anesthesia for pediatric cases inside CT and MRI rooms and during daily radiotherapy sessions on the linear accelerator and anesthesia for brachytherapy cases)

· Apart of code blue team.
